Hi! I.m Mrs. Chris Matthy the All Saints’ Music Teacher.

All the children, Kindergarten through the 8th grade have a 30-40 minute music class on Tuesday or Wednesday of each week. On those days, I share my passion for music with them. I love teaching them to play the instruments, sing and dance, act and create, listen to all styles of music, and to learn about famous composers.

You are welcome to come and visit during your child’s class anytime. If you play an instrument, sing, have a musical story from your past or would like to share information about a different cultures music, call and leave your phone number with the office or send a note in with your child. I will be glad to schedule your visit.

Some events to look forward to are:

• 5th grade Native American presentation in the McAlear Center with Native American songs and dance
• 5th grade presentation at the Toledo Symphony Neighborhood Christmas Concert in December where they will be playing the “Trepak” from the Nutcracker Suite.
• The grades K-4th Christmas Musical
• February and May trips to Children’s Concerts by the Toledo Symphony at the Peristyle.
