• The Art Room is just over a year old!
• Prior to the completion of the room, art traveled from room to room by cart.
• An anonymous donation allowed brand new cabinets to be added at the end of September 2007, completing phase two of building.
• Grades K-8 have class weekly.
• Grade 5-8 keep a sketchbook to record their ideas and foster their drawing skills.
• Our program is based on Ohio State Standards and seeks to integrate core classroom content with the art standards.
• Students are provided with the opportunity to use as many types of art tools and media as possible.
• Students are encouraged to see art as a chance for using problem solving skills and to face challenges with creativity.
